I just got a Schneider Gramil for scoring binding channels.
I was surprised to find that the cutter blade is a "V" shape. Anyone have any tips on sharpening these cutter blades?
Thanks

I do it free hand on 600 to 2000 grit sandpaper on glass. Takes a few minutes.

freehand as well, but i use waterstones. just like anything else, polish the back and hone the bevels, making sure to avoid making a shoulder on it. i notied it was difficult for me when working on such small blades with my oversized paws if i wasn't paying constant attention. not one of the jobs where you can zone out into a meditative state as in plane or chisel sharpening with a honing guide.

Freehand with sandpaper works great for me...
